iOS App Development

iOS applications that behave the way an iPhone should.

We design and build iPhone and iPad applications in Swift and SwiftUI, then take them through TestFlight and App Store review. Apple’s conventions are the starting point. We depart from them only for a stated reason.

What we build for iPhone and iPad

  • Customer applications

Products that live or die on ratings, retention and the first thirty seconds on someone’s phone.

  • Internal and field tools

Staff applications distributed privately through Apple Business Manager and managed by your MDM.

  • iPad workflows

Split View, Apple Pencil, hardware keyboards, and the large-screen layouts a stretched phone app never gets right.

  • Connected hardware

Bluetooth LE peripherals, barcode scanning, NFC, camera pipelines and on-device models through Core ML.

Where iOS projects are won or lost

  • Review is part of the design brief

Privacy manifests, data-use labels, in-app account deletion and payment rules shape the product. We design for them at the start, so review day is uneventful.

  • Accessibility from the first screen

Dynamic Type, VoiceOver and Reduce Motion are far cheaper to build in than to bolt on. Layouts are tested at the largest text sizes before they are signed off.

  • The June problem

Apple changes the platform every year. Beta releases go through our test suite each summer, so a September OS release is a non-event for your users.

Questions we hear first.

How long does an iOS app take to build?

A focused first release usually takes three to six months. Anything quoted before the scope is understood is a guess, which is why every engagement begins with a short discovery phase that ends in a real plan and a real number.

What will it cost?

Cost follows scope, integrations and how much must work offline, so we do not quote from a one-paragraph brief. Discovery is a fixed fee and produces a written estimate you can take to any vendor, including us.

Whose App Store account does the app live under?

Yours. Enrol your organization in the Apple Developer Program and the listing, reviews and revenue stay with you permanently. Enrolment needs a D-U-N-S number, so it is worth starting early. We help with the paperwork.

Can you take over an existing iOS app?

Yes. We begin with a code and architecture audit, tell you plainly what is sound and what is not, and recommend the smallest change that makes the app safe to keep building on.
